
Last year The Observer ethical awards were won by the “Make Poverty History” campaign, whilst other nominees included Jamie Oliver, Architecture for Humanity and Meare Village Primary School, who won the young campaigner of the year award. This year, nominations are being called for in nine categories.
A panel of experts will judge the nominations and the public will be asked to vote in four categories, these are - Best Local/Online Retailer, Campaigner of the Year, Supermarket Initiative and Politician of the Year. Further details can be found at http://observer.guardian.co.uk/ethicalawards
