Last Thursday I went to Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. There was lots to see and some of it undercover, so didn’t get too wet!
My favourite small garden was Full Frontal. Hadlow College’s garden design was inspired by the Royal Horticultural Society’s Front Garden Campaign which illustrated that it is possible to have flowers and plants as well as parking space in a front garden without the need for concrete.
Designer: Heidi Harvey and Fern Alder. Contractor: Mick Collins (Hadlow College).

I had a brilliant day out and I got lots of information. Unfortunately, it highlighted the fact that I need to put in a bit more work on my own garden to keep up with the exhibitors, and getting rid of slugs and vine weevil should be my main priority!
I’ll keep on digging! – Linda
