Whether it’s lapsang souchong or a mug of builders’, it’s hard to beat a nice cup of tea. On 19 September, Christian Aid is asking people across the world to get together, put the kettle on and help give poor communities the chance of a better future. Christian Aid Tea Time is a unique fundraising event that puts the tea in the fight against poverty. Last year more than 2000 tea parties from Sheffield to Sri Lanka raised an incredible £195,000. So put the kettle on!
