We’ve recently purchased the Eco Kettle. So far so good, we fill the kettle to the brim and press the central button in the lid to release the right amount of water into the boiling chamber depending on how many of us want a drink at the same time, so only boiling the amount of water we need. Using the Eco Kettle saves electricity, water, time (it boils really quickly) and money. In independent consumer trials, directed by the Energy Saving Trust, the Eco kettle used over 30% less energy than standard kettles - Defra estimate that If everybody in the UK used an Eco Kettle, we would save 1,270,000,000 KWh of electricity every year!
