We know that bees produce very lovely honey from nectar, but, more importantly, they pollinate fruit and vegetables – a third of the food we eat in fact. As a leader on the environment and the UK’s largest farmer, The Co-operative could not be expected to ignore the recent decline in the UK’s bee populations. So they’ve launched Plan Bee, a new campaign and 10-point plan to help reverse the worrying decline in the British bee population.
