Things are blooming, just about. I have only two surviving sunflower plants and only one flowering at the moment. Apart from its tired leaves, the flower looks quite healthy. I think I am ahead of Una on quality of bloom, but behind on quantity…. Linda
It’s nearly the end of May and although my sunflowers are growing, they do seem to be looking a trifle limp!
I think they need more sun and more water! Una.

Failed on the walking front today and have come in by car. But I am hoping to go out at lunchtime (on foot) for at least an hour and I have big plans to go walking in the New Forest over the bank holiday.
I was in London all day today so lots and lots of walking. From Waterloo to Borough to Northwick Park to Wembly Park to Willesden Green and then back to Waterloo. Didn’t walk back home from Southampton station as was too tired, got taxi!
