More than 50,000 people came together to demand action on climate change on 5 December 2010 at The Wave, the biggest ever UK climate change march. The Wave called for the Government to take much more urgent and effective action. Prime Minister, Gordon Brown invited 24 Wave supporters to 10 Downing Street after the event to hear their demands.
People from all over the country dressed in blue encircled Parliament, calling on the UK government to settle for nothing less than a climate deal in Copenhagen that avoids dangerous climate change and protects the world’s poorest who are already feeling its effects.
