Ethical Marketing is a really hot topic. But is it simply the latest hype from the PC lobby? Can ‘real’ businesses afford to accommodate these ideas in the current cash constrained environment? Or is it the new marketing reality, an approach that no company can afford to ignore? Total Coverage, a graphic design worker co-operative has ethics embedded at the heart of the business and has had for 22 years so is off to Portsmouth Business School this evening to attend Ethical Marketing – Friend or Foe? to find out what others think.

Discussing the issues will be Ted Merdler, Head of Brand Engagement and Communication, from The Southern Co-operatives, an organisation built on ethical principles since its foundation and he will be joined by Richard Christy, Principal Lecturer, Department of Human Resources and Marketing Management, from Portsmouth University, who will share the latest academic thinking.
