Christian Aid Week

Today 1.3 billion people live in extreme poverty. Tonight 800 million will go to bed hungry. This year 12 million children will die before their fifth birthday. Yet our world has never been richer.
For more than 60 years, Christian Aid has made a practical difference to millions of lives around the world.
They work with people of every faith and none and have spoken out powerfully for freedom and justice.
Despair is not an option. Help them build a world free of injustice and poverty. Not tomorrow but today.
