On Saturday 13 September I am hoping to revisit my teens by going back to the eighties. There’s a Here and Now concert at Breamore House on the edge of the New Forest promising a wonderful array of talent including Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Bananarama, Kim Wilde, Paul Young, Altered Images, Belinda Carlisle and Toyah.
I can’t wait!

Homeless Link is the national membership organisation for frontline homelessness agencies in England. Their member organisations support thousands of people whose lives have been marked by homelessness. Every day they help people make the journey away from homelessness.

Total Coverage was appointed to design and produce the ‘Good Practice in Tackling Rough Sleeping Through Street Outreach Service’ report.

The report provides an accessible and easy to use guide of different models of service delivery for street outreach services. To continue the positive impact, the report was produced with FSC accreditation to ensure minimal environmental impact of the publication.

The Worker Co-operative Code of Governance, produced by Co-operativesUK and experts from the worker co-operative sector, sets out how to successfully run and govern a workers’ co-operative.

Corporate governance is an increasingly important issue in business today and nowhere more so than in co-operatives. As member-owned businesses, co-operatives have a long tradition of involving people in the business and ensuring corporate transparency.

The launch of a code specifically written for the worker co-operative sector marks a new chapter in good corporate governance for co-operatives.

Employers’ Forum on Disability is the world’s leading employers’ organisation focused on disability as it affects business. They make it easier to employ and do business with disabled people. They are supported by a growing list of members from UK business, multinational corporations, SMEs and the public sector and are widely recognised as setting the standard for disability best practice.

Continuing the implementation of a refreshed brand image, Employers’ Forum on Disability commissioned Total Coverage to design and produce a document outlining the key benefits of becoming a member. We produced an accessible publication, printed using vegetable based inks on sustainable uncoated paper.

Total Coverage was recently invited by one our print suppliers to attend the Southampton v Blackpool football match. Being originally from Blackpool, how could I refuse? So last Saturday I saw the Seasiders win one nil at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton. Hurrah! Needless to say my colleagues and the other 15000 Saints supporters were not happy as I cheered the visiting team when they got a goal.

I recently had a wonderful Saturday evening with family and friends at Meyrick Park in Bournemouth. Conductor Nicolae Moldoveanu together with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra performed music by Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky as part of Fantasia Musical Spectacular. The music and fireworks were fabulous and it didn’t rain!

During Soil Association Organic Fortnight, people across Britain will be celebrating all things organic. From 6-21 September, individuals, businesses and communities will be hosting events to raise awareness of the environmental, health and social benefits of organic production. Not only that, but the campaign gives everyone a chance to enjoy organic products from delicious food and drink to beauty and textiles.

The fortnight kicks off with the Soil Association Organic Food Festival, Europe’s largest organic celebration, which takes place in Bristol on 6-7 September.
